About John

John’s voice comes from many years of diverse experiences. Many many years. Just so many… many years. He grew up a surfer kid in Southern California, then devoted his life to punk rock for most of his 20s. In his 30s, he moved from sunny San Diego, California to frigid Chicago, Illinois to become a graphic designer. Shortly thereafter, John became an Art Director for a large advertising agency. There, he worked on high profile projects for Budweiser, Gatorade and McDonald’s while drinking martinis for lunch in fabulous suits. It was during this time that John kept receiving compliments for his voice. He decided to speak into a microphone and… well… here we are.

In his early 40s, he moved to Seoul, South Korea to start a new life and new career—Radio Hosting and Voice Acting. That was over 10 years ago, which means John is now 28 years old. Time—she works in mysterious ways.
